About Paul Manley:

Paul Manley, M.A., has been a professional Vedic astrologer since 1992, blending over three decades of study and practice with a master’s degree in counseling psychology. His primary training in Jyotish comes from K.N. Rao, one of the world’s most respected astrologers. Paul has taught seminars in the U.S., Japan, and India, including at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, K.N. Rao’s renowned school. He is also a certified teacher and tutor with the American College of Vedic Astrology (ACVA) and has taught at ACVA conferences, offering his practical and methodical instruction.

His first book, Birth Time Rectification: How to Find Your Exact Birth Time, is a groundbreaking work in Vedic astrology, offering a systematic approach to a topic rarely addressed in-depth. The book has appeared on the Amazon bestseller list in New Age Astrology and is considered highly esteemed by respected figures in the Vedic astrology community. Paul has also contributed articles to The Mountain Astrologer, Journal of Astrology, Express Star Teller, CVA Journal, and Zento Magazine.

His training in Jyotish includes spending a year and a half in India, immersing himself in its practice. During this time, he studied with K.N. Rao, founder of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, the largest astrology school in the world. He also worked with R. Santhanam, the renowned translator of the classic text Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra. While completing his master’s degree in psychology in Santa Fe, New Mexico, he tutored for three years with Vedic scholar Dr. David Frawley, former president of ACVA and author of The Astrology of the Seers.

Paul Manley has practiced yoga and meditation since 1977 and began studying Sanskrit in 1992, both in India and with the American Sanskrit Institute. He currently resides on the island of Maui, Hawaii and occasionally enjoys windsurfing.
